Cell Site on Wheels (Pneumatic or Motorized Lattice):  aka COWs With Shelters

YOU CAN ALSO FIND OUR LATEST CUSTOM PRODUCTS AT OUR NEW WEBSITE:  https://tssdallas.com

Cell Site on Wheels (CSOW) for mobile (temporary) indoor BTS applications including a trailer typically equipped with an insulated shelter, (1-2) Will-Burt locking pneumatic masts (typically 60'), RF antenna mounting kit, maintenance platform, MW antenna mounting kit, AC utility connection, transfer switch, AC breaker panel and a diesel generator equipped with an external fuel tank for backup power.  These locking pneumatic masts are offered in extended heights from 30' to 164'; however, for these CSOW applications, 60' is typical, and 76' is the maximum height for the configurations shown in our photos below where the masts are mounted vertically behind the platform.  We can build our CSOW product with 1-2 taller masts, such as the 100' mast (530 lb payload capacity), but the masts are installed in front of the generator and swing over the top of the platform using our custom pivot / winching system in order to be stored in the horizontal position for transport.   We now offer a 59', 80' and 106' Will-Burt locking mast with a 1,200 lb payload capacity!   We also offer NextMove positioners for the MW dish, so it can be adjusted / aligned from the ground, rather than having to lower the mast or move the trailer in order to align it.

Standard trailer equipment includes: all steel / welded construction, galvanized steel grated deck, maintenance platform, RV steps to get into the shelter and also onto the trailer deck, (4) lockable storage compartments, oversized dual axles (8,000 lb rating each, maintenance free (run in oil bath); 16,000 lb GVWR), tongue jack, safety chains, recessed spare tire, running lights / reflectors, electric brakes and (4) outriggers with leveling jacks.  Optional equipment includes: an integrated base tank under the trailer deck or an external tank for increased generator run-time capacity, a cable management kit for the mast, a mounting kit for a microwave dish and cable reels to help manage the BTS cables when this product is being transported.  We have our own custom hydraulic lifting system which allows for 100' masts and taller to be used with the shelter without losing any trailer deck space, while allowing for safe transport with the mast in the horizontal position (mast is installed in front of platform)We can provide you with details on this system upon request.

Our shelters are typically equipped with a single door, aluminum or galvanized steel exterior walls, aluminum interior walls (unpainted), AC load center, (1-2) air conditioners equipped with a controller for alarms (with or without an electric strip heater), fluorescent lighting, electrical outlets, internal master ground bar, thermal alarms, door alarm, waveguide cable entry ports and outdoor RF ground bar.  For these trailer applications, we typically fabricate our shelters completely out of aluminum in order to reduce the weight on the trailer, leaving the customer with more weight capacity for their equipment.  A more detailed description of our shelter's construction is provided under the shelters product page.  Note, all electrical equipment and wiring are installed per the National Electric Code.

We can also provide Cell Site on Wheels (CSOW) equipped with motorized lattice towers, rather than the masts described above.  These motorized lattice towers are offered in extended heights of 55'-60', 80'-85', 106'-120' and 150'.  For towers 120' and taller, the trailers come standard with dual 12,000 lb axles and the decks are coverd with either galvanized steel or aluminum tread plate.  In addition, there are (4) galvanized outriggers provided which transport attached to the sides of the trailer or that pull out similar to our pneumatic trailers.  We have details and photos on our Cell Site Trailers product page regarding or motorized lattice towers and outriggers.  The big difference is that the trailers equipped with our lattice towers and our shelters are larger than any of our other trailers, and have a low boy section behind the tongue and in front of the rear deck in order to install the shelter under the lattice tower.  These trailers are typically equipped with gooseneck tongues for fifth wheels, but they can be setup as bumper pull trailers as well.

We can custom design and build these CSOWs in any size requirements for any application.  In addition, we can integrate the customer owned equipment into this product, creating a turn key solution.  Our standard warranty on the trailer is 3 years, our standard warranty on the shelter is 1 year and our integration warranty is 1 year; all other OEM material is warranted by the original manufacturers.
